{Remembrance Day}

As a kid I grew up thinking Remembrance day being just another day off....
Now that I've married into a family of veterans, It means more. It's become real and personal.
We are thankful for our peace. We are thankful for those that fought for peace and we honor those that Lost their lives in war and conflict.

Great Grandpa Adamson fought In WWII
He served in Germany, Italy, Holland and South Africa
He left as a young married man and returned to his wife and his 18 month old baby boy. I can't imagine missing the birth and 18 months of your first child's life.
He sacrificed much (thankfully not his life)

This Remembrance day we came to see Great Grandpa.
To honor him and remember those that were fallen.
Here is our baby Adam Thomas with his name sake
Great Grandpa Thomas Adamson
We only stayed for a short visit because Aliza was a holy terror....
and WWIII was about to break out!
But we paused, we discussed and we REMEMBERED
