This Friday Night the NICU mamas left their babies at home and headed to the KEG for a night of good food and GREAT company.It's interesting how in such a short time we have felt such a strong bond to each other. We laughed and laughed and laughed.... and marveled at how far we've come. (apparently I have the best C section shuffle for the first week of Adams NICU stay.) Together we spent 53 weeks in the NICU. Yes That's right over one year. Kelsey gets the prize for 17 weeks, Adams 3 weeks was so short in comparison.... but still so terrible to be away from your baby at all!!! no matter how long the NICU stay it was time filled with fear hope prayers and worry.
It was so nice to be together with these women...who continue to support encourage and strengthen me. Oh and make me laugh till my guts hurt!
Cant wait till our next girls night;)
