{Finding Joy in Every Season}

This was one CRAZY week!
On Saturday we had our annual Relief Society Anniversary Dinner (so that meant alot of prepping and shopping) and My husband was on a scout camp!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH Tues night he took his scouts shopping for all their meals and on Wed they left for their "winterish" camp till Saturday Morning!!!!!!!!! So from Tuesday to Saturday I was flying solo (33 weeks pregnant with 3 kids.....are you feeeling sorry for me yet?)!!!!!!!!! and needing to pull off a spiritually uplifting dinner and evening for 60..... no biggy right? well We did it! and I do mean we... Thank you to all who stepped in to help...the evening turned out perfect!

Our Theme this year was "Finding Joy in every Season"
and as a gift we gave each sister a cookie (from the season they were born in)

nothin like a cello bag and a little topper for the perfect detail!

We had 8 tables 2 of each season

Summer Spring

Fall

Winter

The Table settings were so easy and looked so pretty too!
we used left over napkins (used from other activities) and decorations from home.... decorations cost us nothing

When the Sisters arrived they sat in the season that they were born in. This worked out so well cause the women were able to sit and visit with sisters they normally wouldn't have.
We served a four course meal
Spring salad (with fancy dressing and fruit)
Squash soup
Meatballs and Rice
and Cake

The High Priests were our servers...so the ladies got to enjoy a sit down dinner.

In between each course we had a speaker, sharing about their life in their season...
this sister in her 30's the Summer of her life

and Sister Charter 97 years old and in the Winter Season.
It was a Delightful evening and fairly stress free...this is my 4th Anniversary dinner I have helped plan as the Enrichment councilor. I guess it just becomes easier every time!

You were designed for that calling. I had it when Brynn was born several years ago. You make it look easy and wonderful. What a great idea and it looked like it turned out so amazing. Way to employ some of your many talents!
