As always we look forward to our 10 days at our beach side resort....
OK OK... we love camping in our tiny trailer, a tent and a whole lot of our other crap, right on the beach. Its been a family tradition for over 20 years. Little did we know this trip would be our last to shady lagoon campsite. The Owners have decided to pursue other interests. and now a group of 100 are searching for a new home away from home! lets hope we can find a place to accommodate us all!
This years vacation was a lot of fun. Our kids are growing and have become so independent and even help! (mostly cause they were paid a quarter to do dishes!)
Even our not-yet 2 year old was put to work!

Our highlights were hanging out in the 1973 bowler!
The Amazing weather
Grandmas visits "down" to the beach
Cuddles with GG (great grandma)
A real magic Show!

And a very cool Treasure hunt!
the kids decorated Bandannas
Slapped on a eye patch...

and searched the beach, for clues and maps
At last the found the treasure!!!!
Aliza loved her Home made popcicle

And the kids all took their turn getting buried in the sand
Uncle Jared set up a out side movie theater on the beach!
complete with treats, popcorn, and hot chocolate!
It' s the best way to watch CARS! all you need is rope, a white tarp and a projector!

Papa was the promoter and director of The second annual shady fest. He brought up all his equipment, and every one was welcome to try their hand at singing with the band...
Even our Little Aliza who sang her original "Cinderella" song...and The Peanut butter and Jelly song.............so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacob and Grandma Danced

and our Friends the B's came up for the long weekend....
and we all had some boating FUN!

the Good old Shady Lagoon campsite...a life time of memories!
