{Like a Bridge Over Troubled Water}

My Sister In law and Brother in Law live out in Chilliwack and were going away for a week. So they graciously lent us their condo for the long weekend! So we decided to make it a "holiday" to Chilliwack (about 1.5 hours away)

MY kids are not good travelers. They yell scream and fight in the car... NOT FUN! The IPOD was loaded with the kids favorite music including

Johnny Cash

yes that's what I said

my kids love it

no screaming

no fighting

just some good old country music!

Another way to keep em quiet is the tunnel game. We hold our breath until we get through the other side. The kids cheat. and we pretend they don't. And they LOVE it!We went on a little hike (nature walk) to the Alexandra Bridge

we had to walk over these train tracks

to Jacobs delight only seconds later a train came!

and here is the beautiful bridge that was built in 1926
Its been over 40 years since it was in use.

Jacob was a little freaked to walk on it. You can see right down to the Fraser river. It was a little crazy
and if that wasn't enough to freak our kids out how about this?
