My Family
When I got married over 6 years ago we realized that we had to make time for both families during the holiday season. and naturally we all wanted to be with our families for Christmas. So we did some compromise and so far it seems to be working quite well for every one. My mom decided to adopt the tradition of Christmas celebrations on Christmas Eve (my dads family always celebrated on the 24th) This way we are Guaranteed to All be together for the holidays!

While the ladies were working their magic in the kitchen Pa pa and Uncle colored and played with the kids...
I guess in the excitement of Christmas I forgot to take pictures... bummer. But we were ALL spoiled and happy.

My dad just gave her an amazing Diamond ring! 3 stones the size of an ice rink!!! (also to celebrate their upcoming 35th wedding anniversary).
It was so fun to see....we were all so surprised! after that we could have wrapped up dirt and she would have been thrilled! Man dad should have warned us!
We had a wonderful Christmas....got the kids all dressed and ready for their Christmas morning at home. (even Molly Dolly got a gift...Chrsitmas PJ's from her Great Grandma Slind)
