Today about 200 church members from around the Lower Mainland braved cold weather Tuesday to watch a life-sized statue of the Angel Moroni raised at the Vancouver, British Columbia Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Grandpa Price Has a small replica of the statue and Aliza thought it was pretty nifty!
The temple is looking so close to completion
but we hear it's a whole year away till the open house and dedication.
The kids did well...but we were there outside in the COLD for nearly 3 hours so a warm cuddle with auntie Jenny was welcomed!
The Angel Moroni is blowing a trumpet, symbolic of preaching the gospel....

It's so neat to be there to witness the placing of the statue....
It reminds me of the importance of sharing the gospel,
and how Family relationships do not need to end at death but can endure FOREVER!!
It's also amazing to think that this could be the temple that our children will some day be sealed (married) for time and all Eternity!

So thankful we could be there as a family to share in such an uplifting experience.
