The Vancouver Primary had a special day at the Temple site. They even had there pews set up.
The children learned about faith (its like a little seed if planted it will grow) they also learned that just like a plant takes time to grow the temple will take 3 years to build. For my kids 3 years is forever.....
The temple is so important to us as a family and to us as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It means that our family relationship does not end at death but will carry on through the eternities. We can be a Forever family.
Here we are Standing on the spot that the Vancouver LDS Temple will be built.
Perhaps in another 3 years we will have a similar photo taken....maybe with another little one?

Pretty neat for the kids to see Grandpa working there. I couldn't help but think of the temple in Navoo and all the hard work and sacrifices that's the members made, despite such adversity. I feel so blessed to live in a time and country that respects my right to worship how I see fit.

Looks like you had a wonderful time. The boys LOVED it. Exciting times in this part of the province. So, are you saying you're pregnant............ha ha.
How neat that you are able to witness and watch it from stage one! My parents were there for the temple dedication - my Dad did it - were you there? That is so cool!
